“Their Hidden Agenda”

“Not the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall

     If there is one thing that I have learned in my almost 60 years of living here on God’s creation, is that things and people are not always what they seem. And, I often refer back to the way thing were when I was growing up, and compare them to life today, because I have a hard time grasping the rapid downward tailspin the world is in.  This comparison only serves to underscore the reality and truth of God’s prophetic Word about how things will be when Jesus returns.

     There have been a number of significent changes in our culture and society during my lifetime that are not as they appear at first glance.  One of them being the so-called “Womens Lib. Movement” that began back in the 60’s, I believe. On the surface, it appears to be a positive change. It claims to establish that women are just as valuable as men, and deserving of the same rights and privilges.  Who can argue against that?

     But, underneath the surface, a different picture starts to emerge.  The Bible affirms the equal worth of women, while maintaining that men and women are also different, and have different roles, purposes and obligations. Unfortunately, the “movement” has convinced women that they can forsake their God given role as man’s “helpmate”, and replace him as breadwinner, often delegating men to being “house husbands”, raising the kids and being the homemaker. It is now considered “politically correct” for women to fill the shoes of men in every aspect of society, and we no longer

recognize the God given differences between the sexes.

 In face, today it is “politically correct” for women to become mothers willingly, without benefit of marriage or a husband.  A quick trip to the sperm bank, and a man is no longer needed.

       It’s no wonder that this role reversal, inspired by the “Women’s Lib. Movement” has spread into the church, where women now often fill the roles of Pastors and Elders, which were ordained by God to be fulfilled by men. Women have their rightful and valuable place and role in the church, just as they do in the marriage union. This is just part of the Last Days Hidden Agenda. Read on!

     When I was a kid growing up back in the 50’s, homosexuality was something that was not even discussed because of the disgrace associated with it. In fact, being call a “queer” was one of the worst things someone could call you.  How things have changed.

     Once again, “political correctness” reared it’s ugly head, and up sprung the “Gay Rights Movement”. The word “gay” means to be elated, happy and lighthearted! Can anyone explain how the word “gay” came to be used to describe something that God calls an abomination?

     Before we knew it, homosexuals had their own parade on national television, and public figures came “out of the closet” to embrace and support this perverted lifestyle.  The latest lie is that homosexuals are “born that way”, and can’t help themselves.  Now, of course, it is politically incorrect not to accept homosexuality as equal to hetrosexuality.

     Of course, what happens in society often seeps into the church, as attested to by the recent and frequent reports in the media of the many homosexuals now occuping the pulpits of many formally solid church denominations. Just another rung on the “Last Day’s Hidden Agenda”.

         Add these two events to the long list of others, such as Prayer in School and Women’s Right to Abortion, and you will find a hidden agenda to discredit the Word of God, that originates in the Pit of Hell. After all, if you can discredit the Word of God, the Bible, you discredit God; you discredit Christianity. This marks the path for a new, politically correct, socially acceptible, Godless worldwide religion, with Antichrist on the throne of power!

 There are two very big stumbling blocks standing in Antichrists way, when he emerges from the darkness of the pit to achive domination as the world leader in the Last Days . . . the Church, and the  tiny nation of Israel.

 Of all the nations in the world, Israel is one of the smallest in both land mass and population, yet no other nation is more in the news or at the forefront of world discussion and concern. Have you ever wondered why that is!  Perhaps it’s because the very survival of this insignificent little country and it’s people is nothing short of a miracle, and absolute proof of the existance of the God of the Bible.

 Scripture tells us that just prior to Messiahs return, all the nations of the world will rise up against Israel, and both the Jews and God’s church will be subject to unbelievable perscution in a final attempt by Satan to avoid his certain fate when Jesus returns.  “Political Correctness” is just the first  short fired in a dreadful war.

 Being a “Believer” during these times is not an easy thing! We are the minority! We are no longer the “mainstream”. We are considered weidos, quacks, cultists and fanitics if we stand up for our faith and values. But we can do nothing less.  That’s  what makes us “Believers” and not “pretenders”
